2021 Blind Corner Chardonnay Aligoté

This wine has a wonderfully dry delivery and flavourful punchline that will send your tastebuds into the giggles. It’s Chardonnay base offers a full-body mouthfeel, with the Aligoté adding citrus notes for a subtle tang. It is made from a single block of wild-fermented Chardonnay, which is slowly being overtaken by Aligoté grafts, all wild fermented in barrel and rough filtered to bottle, keeping the wine as close to the vineyard as possible.

Following a trip around Europe hunting out wine regions and surf breaks in a van; Ben and Naomi Gould established Blind Corner in 2005. They bought a small vineyard in Wilyabrup, Margaret River and began the vineyard’s conversion to biodynamics. The Gould mantra is to make wines that express their unique terroir, capture vintage variation and essentially trap the essence of the vineyard in bottle. 10 years after buying their original vineyard, they were able to buy another vineyard in Quindalup, Yallingup sub-region. Today the focus is on the Quindalup vineyard, which is certified biodynamic and organic. Vines are hand tended and dry-grown following biodynamic practices across the two vineyards with all grapes being handpicked. Ben and Naomi experiment with techniques learned from vignerons across the globe, and continue evolving their approach to producing great value wines.

We offer free shipping over $199! There is no minimum order quantity. Mix and match your own wine pack!

Orders less than $199 are shipped for a flat fee of $15 for standard delivery, or $20 for express shipping.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. We'll dispatch your order within 24 hours during week days.

We are an Australian based company, licensed to sell alcohol across Australia. Currently we ship to all states except NT. All orders are packaged securely for a safe transit to you from our temperature controlled warehouse in Sydney.

DELIVERY

For the delivery of your items, please allow up to 5 business days for most metro areas, and up to 10 business days for remote areas. Please note these timeframes are estimates only and not a guaranteed delivery date. 

You will receive delivery tracking updates once your order has been collected from our delivery partner. All wine deliveries can only be signed-for and accepted by a person 18 years and older.
