2021 Swinney Mourvèdre

Mourvèdre from dry-grown bush vines on the rich gravelly-loam soils of our Swinney Wilson’s Pool vineyard. Careful canopy management, fruit thinning and selective hand harvesting over multiple passes, all ensure we achieve as close to perfect fruit as possible.

Vibrant magenta with purple hues. A distinct ferrous character on the nose, with Szechuan pepper, brambly wild red and black fruits with a subtle violet lift. The palate is medium bodied with characteristic plums, spice and iron filings. Beautiful poise with lithe tannins and a fine boned structural finish.

Nestled in the heart of the Frankland River region in Western Australia is Swinney, a family producer with a strong focus on creating world class Syrah and Grenache. Matt and Janelle Swinney, siblings behind the label, continue to combine a deep understanding of their sites, and a long history of growing fruit in the region, with dry farmign and organic practices, to produce fruit that speaks clearly and intensely of where its grown.

Swinney wines have become a cult favourite among the wine community, with numerous accolades and raving reviews from wine critics, along with being awarded 'Vineyard of the Year in March 2021 by Young Gun of Wine after a long process of judging and various site inspections across Australia.

We offer free shipping over $199! There is no minimum order quantity. Mix and match your own wine pack!

Orders less than $199 are shipped for a flat fee of $15 for standard delivery, or $20 for express shipping.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. We'll dispatch your order within 24 hours during week days.

We are an Australian based company, licensed to sell alcohol across Australia. Currently we ship to all states except NT. All orders are packaged securely for a safe transit to you from our temperature controlled warehouse in Sydney.

DELIVERY

For the delivery of your items, please allow up to 5 business days for most metro areas, and up to 10 business days for remote areas. Please note these timeframes are estimates only and not a guaranteed delivery date. 

You will receive delivery tracking updates once your order has been collected from our delivery partner. All wine deliveries can only be signed-for and accepted by a person 18 years and older.
