Occam' Razor is a wine label from Emily McNally, one of two daughters who is accustomed to the wine industry after growing up in the vineyard and working in their family wine business, Jasper's Hill located in Heathcote Victoria. 

Emily has been passionately involved in growing grapes and making wine alongside her father since 2001. Inspired by the family business and her father's passion, she has ventured into her own creative wine projects under the labels Occam's Razor and Lo Stesso. Occam's Razor is a shiraz wine limited to 400 cases and generally finds itself exclusively to fine restaurants across Australia. We absolutely love the vibrancy and quality of this wine and we are absolutely sure you're going to enjoy it too.

Named after 14th century theologian William of Occam’s philosophy of “less is more”, with a stylised “ < less than” symbol on the label, very applicable to our minimal intervention winemaking methodology. Once again we have sourced grapes from Colbinabbin, mid-north of the Heathcote region and blended together with a parcel of Heathcote fruit from further south west. Going forward with the Occam’s label we aim for continuity with these vineyards into the future. We closely watched ripening and harvested early to capture a great fresh feel. Dark crimson colour, forward spicy fruit with a raspberry and cream finish. Delicious, enjoy it now.

Emily McNally, inspired by her upbringing in family winery Jasper's Hill, has ventured into creating two of her own side wine projects, Occam's Razor and Lo Stesso while she continues to support her family wine business.

Situated in the Heathcote region of Victoria, Emily brings a passion for the region with these these limited, but exceptional quality wines, truely making her recognisable across the region and across the industry.

This is a hearty bold red, perfect for red meats, either grilled or roasted, or in a slow cooked casserole. Serve with charred vegetables.

We offer free shipping over $199! There is no minimum order quantity. Mix and match your own wine pack!

Orders less than $199 are shipped for a flat fee of $15 for standard delivery, or $20 for express shipping.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. We'll dispatch your order within 24 hours during week days.

We are an Australian based company, licensed to sell alcohol across Australia. Currently we ship to all states except NT. All orders are packaged securely for a safe transit to you from our temperature controlled warehouse in Sydney.

DELIVERY

For the delivery of your items, please allow up to 5 business days for most metro areas, and up to 10 business days for remote areas. Please note these timeframes are estimates only and not a guaranteed delivery date.
