2019 Moorilla Estate Muse Chardonnay

A bright, vivacious white (although there’s some golden tinges in the glass), it starts a little subdued but as it warms it reveals expanses of sweet, fleshy yellow stonefruit, tart mango and a hint of cantaloupe, underpinned by a smooth, creamy oatmeal note (and a suggestion of star anise). A vibrant, warm vintage is on full show here, with just enough oak coming through to ensure that—while it’s drinking superbly now—it’ll still thrive with another year or two in the cellar. Don’t drink it too cold.

Moorilla Wines is an esteemed winery located in Tasmania, Australia. With a rich history dating back to 1958, Moorilla has earned a reputation for producing exceptional cool-climate wines. Situated on the banks of the Derwent River, their vineyards benefit from the region's maritime influence, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality. David Walsh purchased Moorilla and brought in Canadian winemaker Conor van de Reest to work on the estate in 2007. They rebuilt the winery together with a redefined philosophy for Moorilla; championing the terroir of the vineyards.

Moorilla offers a diverse range of varietals, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Cabernet Sauvignon, among others in three distinct ranges to choose from. Cono's wines speak of the vineyards' unique cool-climate terroir.

Their commitment to sustainable practices is evident in their organic and biodynamic farming methods. Moorilla's attention to detail extends to their cutting-edge winemaking techniques, resulting in elegant and complex wines that reflect the unique terroir. Orders less than $199 are shipped for a flat fee of $15 for standard delivery, or $20 for express shipping.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. We'll dispatch your order within 24 hours during week days.

We are an Australian based company, licensed to sell alcohol across Australia. Currently we ship to all states except NT. All orders are packaged securely for a safe transit to you from our temperature controlled warehouse in Sydney.

For the delivery of your items, please allow up to 5 business days for most metro areas, and up to 10 business days for remote areas. Please note these timeframes are estimates only and not a guaranteed delivery date. 

You will receive delivery tracking updates once your order has been collected from our delivery partner. All wine deliveries can only be signed-for and accepted by a person 18 years and older.
